Sandy Forster

Everyone wants to be Wildly Wealthy don’t they?  Well meet the single mum who dragged herself out of thousands of dollars of debt to become one of the Wildly Wealthy Women.

Sandy Forster’s journey into single parenthood began when the younger of her two children was six months old and found that financially her future seemed bleak.  Sandy dropped out of school in grade eleven, but was always entrepreneurial and searching for something better.  She started business after business but never really succeeded with any of them.  Sandy says, “I felt like I was put on earth to be a millionaire, but didn’t know how to make it happen.  When I finally understood the method that was going to make my heart sing, it [all just] finally clicked.”

Sandy told me that she used to work with a Telesales company [in the wealth creation business] and the problem with that, was that the people who needed the information most, couldn’t afford it.  Sandy truly believes that “your thoughts create your reality and if you can change the way you think, you can change your life!”  While in the process of changing and creating her own millionaire mindset [with business partner Dymphna Boholt], Sandy saw a need for a book to help others find a way to stop sabotaging their own chances of prosperity.

How to be Wildly Wealthy FAST was born and although Sandy self published her book, it became the number five seller on the entire Amazon network worldwide [May 2005].  Not bad for a single parent who just a few years earlier was struggling to make ends meet.

So how did she do it?

Sandy says, “It’s kind of drilled into us that we must be tertiary educated and work work work work and that we will not make any profit in the first three years of business.  I believe that if we are conditioned into believing something is true, then that’s what will happen.  If you think you won’t make any profit for three years, then you won’t.  My book involves some practical steps, but chapter after chapter is about giving you tips to create your mindset.  Creating the mindset allows you to go to the place that will attract wealth for you.  I will say though, never rely on one source of income, because if that dries up, then you are in trouble.  Multiple streams of income are the smart way to creating wealth.”

On a personal front, Sandy is happier than she has ever been and although her break up with her former husband wasn’t easy, she says that she may finally be ready for Mr Right to come along.  Her children [now 18 and 15] have a great relationship with their father and her son still visits him fortnightly.  Sandy credits some of her sanity during those early single years to child care (which her children attended 2 to 3 days a week).  “As a working mum you are not always interacting with the kids, so child care was wonderful for them.  They loved the singing, painting etc.  Child care is a wonderful support network (and safe).”

What are Sandy’s thoughts on single parenting?  “Oh gosh… the freedom.  Not so much about being a single parent, but being single full stop.  I’m very independent and I really love having my own space.  It’s wonderful actually.”

Throughout this interview, Sandy struck me as a truly happy, confident woman, she said that “not only do I do what I love; I get to work from home as well.  My whole mission in life is to go around and help other people find their own way to wealth.  It’s a great life!”

This is one Wildly Wealthy woman who may be travelling on a golden road to riches, but is more than happy to share the ride.
