As single parents ourselves, we felt that a new network to put single parents in touch with each other, was well overdue.  So the SingleParentdom support groups were born.  SingleParentdom (the home of single parents everywhere) is a new community initiative by the team at The Single Parent Bible and is free to join.

The SingleParentdom website (www.singleparentdom.com) will highlight the new single parent chapters that will be opening up in an area near you and is completely interactive.  Therefore single parents just like us, like you, will be able to log in and post their stories.  Sometimes the telling is the most cathartic thing of all...  If there is no group available in your area, contact us, via www.singleparentdom.com and we will do our best to get one started.

SingleParentdom is no Utopia and to those who are battling the minefield of single parenthood, you will know what we mean when we say; that sometimes you just need to spend some time with people who understand what you are going through.  People from your own planet. 

This is why we decided to launch SingleParentdom, a website and network that will highlight groups of single parents across Australia (and some over the seas as well).  This way, when you need a friend, a chat over a coffee, or even just some time out from your everyday, then you will be able to contact the group nearest to you and instantly feel at home.  SingleParentdom, not an easy life, but one that is manageable - with support, friendship, information and networks.
